The October 1 Index · Portfolio Sweep
Every client store on your roster, one page each, before a client asks
Send the list of client storefronts. Within 48 hours you get one document with a page per store: every third-party script across five page types, which ones stop on March 1, 2027, and which vendor to ask. Each page can be forwarded to that client as is. Agencies whose whole roster checks clean get a verification page, a badge for their site, and a place on the agencies list.
The free check does the homepage of one store at a time. The sweep does the roster, on the pages the homepage cannot show.
Refundable in full until generation starts. Billed by StatusBird LLC through Stripe; not a Shopify app.
What each client page records
On home, product, collection, cart and search pages, with the exact script and the vendor to ask for a migration date.
Apps that have migrated and left an old tag behind are marked so, because nothing breaks there and the client should not be alarmed.
The two findings that arrive as legal letters rather than support tickets, recorded per page type.
One SHA-256 for the document, printed on it, with a verification page and a badge for a clean roster.
How it runs
- Order through Stripe, then reply to the confirmation with the list of client domains. Any format is fine.
- Each store is fetched from the outside, paced, and identified as the October 1 Index in the request headers. No admin access, nothing installed.
- Within 48 hours of receiving the list, the document arrives by email, with a verification page for the roster.
- If every store is clean, the roster's verification page carries the badge snippet, and the agency can ask to be listed for merchants who need a migration done.
A sweep records what public storefronts loaded on the date shown. It is not legal, compliance, security or accessibility advice. Terms are on the terms page.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on the number of stores?
The flat price covers the agency's own client roster. A roster above one hundred stores is quoted by email first, so that delivery within 48 hours can be kept.
Do clients have to agree?
The check reads public pages only, the same way any visitor's browser does. Under the terms you confirm the stores are ones you own, manage or are evaluating for a legitimate purpose.
Can each client page be sent separately?
Yes. The document is one page per store, and each page stands alone with the date, the findings and the seal.
What if a client store was already checked by the index?
The sweep re-fetches every store on the date of the order, so the record is current rather than a copy of an earlier check.
