Terms of Service

Effective September 18, 2026. These terms govern the StatusBird Studio pages on this site, the free AI-Built Store Check, the Sealed Store Audit, the Watch and Rank plans, and any sprint or rebuild agreed by a separate statement of work, all provided by StatusBird LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("StatusBird", "we"). By using the pages or placing an order you agree to them. They are separate from the terms of the StatusBird monitoring application and from the October 1 Index terms.

1. What the service is, and is not

The check and the audit are observation. They record what a publicly accessible website served to an identified crawler and to a browser on the date shown, using the method described in each report. They are not legal, compliance, security, tax or accessibility advice, and nothing in a report is a statement that a site or a business complies or fails to comply with any law, regulation, standard or platform policy. Automated checks find a subset of issues; the absence of a finding is not a statement that none exists. You are responsible for decisions you make on the basis of a report.

StatusBird LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Lovable, StackBlitz, Vercel, Replit, Wix, Hostinger, Squarespace, Shopify or any other builder or platform named on these pages. Product names are used only to identify the products concerned.

2. The free check

The check fetches up to three public pages, your robots.txt, sitemap and up to four of your public JavaScript files, once per request, and is limited to three checks per visitor per day. You may use it only for sites you own, manage, or are evaluating for a legitimate purpose. You may not use it to harass any business, to assemble a list for litigation targeting, or by automated means. A summary is stored under a random link for seven days and then deleted.

3. Security scanning

The security section matches documented credential patterns in files your site already serves to every visitor, and decodes JSON web tokens found there only to read their role claim. Values are masked in the report and are not stored. We do not query any database, API or data endpoint belonging to you or to a third party, and we do not attempt to access any data. If you are not the owner of a site and its check shows a credential finding, you agree not to act on it except to notify the owner.

4. Orders, delivery and price

Prices are in US dollars. Payment is taken by Stripe at the time of order. Tax is calculated at checkout according to your billing address.

5. Refunds

If an audit finds nothing on any page checked, or we cannot fetch the site you named after reasonable attempts, we refund the order in full. Otherwise, because an audit is produced to order and delivered in full on delivery, it is not refundable once delivered. Subscription payments are not refunded for partial months. Refund requests go to studio@statusbird.io and are processed to the original payment method within ten business days.

6. Your rights in what we deliver

On payment you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use, copy and forward the audit and evidence delivered to you for your own business purposes, including sharing them with developers, advisers and platforms. You may not resell an audit as a standalone product, remove the issuer, date or evidence seal, or present an altered copy as ours. Code and content we write for your site under a sprint or rebuild belong to you on payment; we retain the scanner, the report format, the monitoring service and our methods.

7. Publication

We may publish aggregate, anonymised statistics from checks and audits. We do not publish a finding identifying a specific site without first notifying its owner at a public contact address and allowing two business days for a reply, and never a credential value. You may opt out of any anonymised case study in writing.

8. Your responsibilities

You confirm that the sites you submit are ones you own, manage, or are evaluating for a legitimate purpose; that you will not use the service to harm, harass or defame any business; and that you will comply with applicable law in any use you make of a report.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE PAGES, THE CHECK, EVERY AUDIT AND THE MONITORING SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STATUSBIRD LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT A REPORT IS COMPLETE, THAT A SITE DESCRIBED AS CLEAR HAS NO ISSUES, THAT MONITORING WILL DETECT EVERY OUTAGE, OR THAT ANY WORK WILL PRODUCE A PARTICULAR SEARCH RANKING, TRAFFIC OR REVENUE RESULT.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StatusBird LLC's total liability arising out of or relating to the service, however arising, is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill.

11. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in Maricopa County, Arizona. If any provision is unenforceable the remainder stands. We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do, and orders are governed by the terms in force when placed.
